Just curious, in your novel “Black Sun Rising” in several places you say the character used amyl nitrate for his illness. Being curious, I looked it up and it appears that amyl nitrate is an additive used to improve combustibility in diesel fuel. Amyl nitrite is the medicine that has been in use apparently since the 1860’s and I assume should have been the reference. The two are apparently often confused due to the similar spelling, but it seems this should have been caught. Or am I missing something?

Hi Douglas. You’re absolutely right. This should have been caught, and will be changed for future editions.

Thanks very much for bringing it to my attention.

      Best regards,
