I’m appearing tomorrow evening as a guest speaker at the Nottingham Contemporary at an event to launch a new Amnesty group.  I’ll be speaking on the subject of ‘Impunity on the Border’ based on the journeys I’ve made to European borders over the last two years.

Matt Carr is a writer and journalist. He is the author of Blood and Faith: the Purging of Muslim Spain (Hurst 2010) and The Infernal Machine: An Alternative History of Terrorism (Hurst 2011). He has spent the last two years researching a book about European borders, irregular migration and refugees.
